• The Pioneer VSX-834 Home Cinema Receiver has 7 amplified channels and a dual subwoofer output. It can easily be used to build a 7.2-channel home theatre system or Dolby Atmos 5.2.2. The latest multichannel audio formats are perfectly handled by the Pioneer VSX-834, including Dolby Atmos and DTS: X. Support for older formats like Dolby True HD, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS-ES, etc. is also supported. With Dolby Surround technology, these formats can be over-mixed for 3D surround sound.
• Best of all, the powerful Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer and DTS Virtual X modes are also integrated into the Pioneer VSX-834 home theater receiver to create a vertical and surround channel virtualization effect from a simple 2.1-channel configuration. The Pioneer VSX-834 Home Cinema Receiver features high-quality audio components, starting with an AKM AK4438 DAC that supports up to 32-bit and 384-kHz digital signals for all amplified channels.
• Stream songs from compatible devices with the built-in Bluetooth Wireless Technology (ver. 4.2 + LE). The VSX-834 features A2DP/AVRCP profiles, with support for SBC/AAC codecs. By pressing the Bluetooth button on the front panel, you can directly start up the BT function, even when the unit is in standby. Just press the Personal Preset button on the front panel for three seconds, and your current settings such as volume level and listening mode can be saved.
• Dialog Enhancement is a unique mid-range sound control feature so you can make independent volume adjustments to the range including dialogs in films, with the up/down key on the remote control. On-Screen Information for Audio/Video Status now shows detailed input and output information for the playing content. So you can see whether your video is being output by Dolby Vision, or if the movie is processing Dolby Atmos or DTS:X sound.
