LG BU70QGA ProBeam 7000 Lumen 4K UHD Laser Projector. Powerful and Versatile Solution - Each

Rs. 699,000.00

The LG BU70QGA is LG's first professional projector designed for the digital signage category.

  • The LG ProBeam BU70QGA, LG Professional's latest top-of-the-line 4K DLP projector, is priced at $5,499 MSRP. The projector uses a multi-channel laser light source that can produce a brightness of up to 7,000 ANSI lumens with a Dynamic Contrast Ratio of 3,000,000:1.
  • The BU70QGA represents a first for LG. The BU70QGA is LG's first ProBeam projector designed for the company's digital signage category of products. The BU70QGA laser projector suits various business and professional applications, including simulator markets and office meeting rooms, but is meant primarily for the digital signage market. In addition to being an incredibly useful professional projector, the BU70QGA has the performance chops to easily fit into the living rooms or home theater rooms of projection enthusiasts worldwide.
  • The BU70QGA displays a resolution of 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160), has a laser light source life of up to 20,000 hours, and features auto lens shift, zoom, and focus with a 1.6x optical zoom.
  • The BU70QGA offers an incredible range of connectivity options, including two (2) RJ45 wired network connections providing an HDBaseT port, with the second being a dedicated LAN port. In addition to the projector's hardware network connection, the BU70QGA also provides users with wired and wireless network connectivity.
  • The BU70QGA is, without a doubt, a serious projector built with high-performance hardware and powerful features. I will cover all of these key items throughout this review. I will also discuss the overall benefits of LG's webOS 6.0 signage platform later in this review. From a very high level, webOS 6.0 for Signage is LG's software solution used in the company's line of digital signage flat-panel displays. The BU70QGA is LG's ProBeam projector with a fully integrated webOS 6.0 for Signage, making this LG's first projector specifically designed for digital signage applications. LG has made the platform available to many LG partners specializing in content management and distribution solutions.
  • While the ProBeam BU70QGA cannot match the black level and native contrast of a model designed for home theater use, it is an excellent option for a room with ambient light. Blacks on this projector are more gray than black, but the projector does an excellent job of displaying the subtle details in the projected image's darkest and brightest areas.
  • The BU70QGA comes with a 1.6x optical lens. LG provides a range of automatic zoom, focus, and even auto geometry (horizontal and vertical lens shift) features along with the ability also manually to control these features providing excellent installation flexibility.
  • The BU70QGA offers built-in wired and wireless networking functionality. Wireless networking is a feature many professional projectors don't ordinarily include. BU70QGA users can connect the projector directly to their network via a wired or wireless network to access photos, videos, and various other compatible file formats.
  • This is a projector that LG lists up front as being primarily designed for digital signage, so watching Top Gun: Maverick in most of the picture modes will look just a little off by design. The good news is that the BU70QGA offers built-in professional calibration adjustments to make the overall color tone more neutral and better suited to theater and home theater content, should the user want them. See the adjusted photo in the slideshow above of Top Gun Maverick.
  • The ProBeam BU70QGA projector is great for big rooms or places with lots of light, like meeting rooms, big halls, or signs in lobbies. It's good at showing detailed pictures and has very clear 4K picture quality. It's really bright with a laser diode light source that produces 7,000 ANSI of manufacturer-rated brightness. Users can shift the lens around and zoom in 1.6 times to make the picture fit right. The BU70QGA also offers wired and wireless networking. It has a built-in camera allowing the projector to automatically adjust the picture size, position, and focus at the touch of a button.
  • The BU70QGA is an incredible value, especially for the professional industry's digital signage, education, and business segments. If you are looking for an ultra-bright business projector for a classroom, boardroom, or house of worship, you would be hard-pressed to find another choice as good as this LG ProBeam. At $5,499 MSRP, the BU70QGA is a slam-dunk digital signage projector to add to your inventory.
