Incompatible Zone Sources:

  • Optical/coaxial Digital Audio Sources Are Not Output To Zone 2.
  • Unfortunately, You Cannot Select Usb And Network Source Exclusively For Each Zone.
  • For Example, If You Select "Network Server" For Zone 2 When "Usb" Is Selected For The Main Zone, The Input Source In The Main Zone Also Switches To "Network Server".

Zone 2 Video:

  • The Yamaha Receiver's Composite, Component, And Second Hdmi Monitor Can Be Assigned To Zone 2 So Two Different Video Feeds Can Be Sent To Two Different Displays At The Same Time Directly From The Receiver (You Must Connect The Same Video Connection To Your Second Display Monitor As Connected To Your Receiver For That Particular Source; There Is No Video-conversion Or Scaling For Zone 2). Hdmi Zone 2 Will Also Output Multichannel Audio Signals For The Hdmi Input Source Selected.

Party Mode:

  • The Party Mode Allows You To Enjoy The Av Receiver's Main Zone Audio Source In Zone 2, Simultaneously (Regardless Of Input Audio Signal Types - Analog Or Digital).
  • During The Party Mode, Stereo Playback Is Automatically Selected For All Zones. The Main Zone & Zone 2's Volume Level Can Be Adjusted Independently.
